Aryna Sjarhejeuna Sabalenka was born on May 5, 1998, in Minsk, Belarus. She began playing tennis at the age of six, and quickly rose through the ranks of junior tennis. In 2015, she won the Wimbledon girls' singles title. She turned professional in 2017 and quickly made a name for herself on the WTA Tour.
