Timberwolves Hold Off Mavericks in Overtime Thriller
Edwards' Triple-Double Leads the Way

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (AP) - Anthony Edwards had a triple-double with 27 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a thrilling 115-108 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who won their second straight game since snapping a five-game losing streak. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 28 points, followed by Christian Wood's 24 points and 16 rebounds.
After trading haymakers throughout the game, the score was tied at 106 apiece at the end of regulation. In overtime, Edwards took over the game, scoring Minnesota's first five points and assisting on Towns' go-ahead dunk with just over two minutes remaining.
Doncic had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but his three-pointer rattled off the rim. The Timberwolves grabbed the rebound and sealed the victory at the free-throw line.
